veggie stir fry

Made this for dinner the other night.  Super easy - and super tasty!

1.  In a small bowl - whisk arrowroot (or cornstarch) & vegetable broth together.  Add black bean sauce and agave, mix well, and set aside.

2.  In a large skillet heat 3 tbsp of peanut oil on medium-high heat. Once oil is heated up, toss in your tempeh cubes.  Allow them to brown on all sides without burning them.  Once heated through, remove from heat, and place on a paper towel lined plate.

3.  Return the skillet back to the stove on medium high heat.  Add 1 tbsp of peanut oil.  Once oil is heated add the veggies. Stir veggies together.

4.  Add red pepper flakes.  Once veggies are beginning to tender, dump the tempeh back into the skillet, add the sauce from the bowl and stir everything together for another minute or so.

I served this over brown rice and seasoned it a bit with soy sauce.

enjoy !

Looks great! I love black bean sauce (I've got a couple of recipes with it too), and the photos make it look yummy!
