thanks for the feedback. everyone's responses were so EXTREMELY different. my favorite happens to be the fillmores, followed by the webbs, then the huxleys... but based on some strong opinions from friends against the fillmores... i'm still undecided. (but leaning towards the fillmores, i think...)☺
Chesen (master of all hot online shopping) tipped me off to Warby Parker glasses. All their frames are 95 bucks a pop (including the prescription lenses) and they run a pretty rad business. For instance, you can opt for home try ons, which means you select 5 frames and they send them to you free of charge to try on and decide which one is right for you. Which leads me to my cry for help...
I received my 4 try ons (Eli used my fifth to try a pair for himself) and I am having a hard time deciding. I am torn between the three below. The angles of these pictures are a bit awkward as I was trying to avoid glaring reflections in the lenses...
So far I have received extremely mixed reactions on which ones look best, which is why I am hoping to get some help here. I have my personal favorite, which of course happens to be Eli's least favorite. Eli's favorite happens to be the one Jesse told me makes me look like an old lady... so basically I need more opinions than just those two!
i wake up abnormally early most mornings... at the standard in LA they had a rooftop pool and bar which included these pods with waterbeds inside. a perfect place to drink coffee and wake up while waiting for the other ladies to wake...
After spending 3 full days with 7 ladies romping around LA, sharing a hotel room with 3, and not having many moments to myself, I am now in Phoenix for work, entirely alone in a hotel room. I was truly dreading this trip, but as it turns out, I am really enjoying this bit of solitude. Eating healthy, using the hotel gym, getting loads of work done. And as hard as it is to be separated from Eli for close to a week, I also kind of love it. These little breaks keep us going strong... when we are apart texts are always flirtier, phone calls sweeter, and I even wrote him a handwritten (love) letter tonight. Barf. I know. But I read somewhere that love letters are a good excercise for those who are composing their own vows. Anyways... !
Here's a couple funny clips of Zach Galifianakis and Snooki on Jimmy Kimmel. They were both guests on the same night, and both clips are so funny - but Galifianakis in particular is HILARIOUS. I love that he calls Snooki Snorkey. And I love that he asks her if she knows what NASA means after she defines GTL... Oh Snooks...

My gay boyfriend in high school, of course at that time he was tucked away in the depths of the high school "closet" trying to find his way out, gave me this during our senior year. I never redeemed it. Good thing there's no expiration date. I'm cashing it in next time he is in town. I miss you Gino!
