O + J

Surely by now, you might be aware of the fact that I have the world's cutest nephews.  Last month I spent a week hanging out with them in Minneapolis.  It's always so amazing to cash in on spending major time with my big-sister, Lana.  It's difficult living so far from her... you'd think we'd be used to it by now, it's been too many years to count since she went off to college and we haven't really shared a city since.  Zeina and I have always been lucky to be in close proximity - which is amazing... but in my fantasy world the 3 of us would share a city, sister-drama-free! haha.
Anyways... check out these faces!

I definitely feel like the crazy aunt who is always busting out pictures and showing people, who may or may not be interested.  But they are so damn cute, how could you not be?  Oh dang, I am that aunt.  Oh well... want more?  I'm sure you do... more here ♥

miss you lanaloo.  see you in 1 month! xo

Had an incredibly busy Memorial Day weekend, and tomorrow we are off to Minneapolis to hang out with Lana, Scott, and Omar!  So happy Eli is coming, and Z is meeting us there!

On a much less excited and upbeat note - my head is still spinning over this.  I have so much work to do, but I can't stop reading things like this and this, and being completely mortified at this news.  Is this the world's wake up call?  There is no debate on this one.

July in Minneapolis.

Today is Scott's birthday, and to celebrate we did some of his favorite things: went on a bike ride, had a picnic dinner, and ate chocolate cake (in the form of yummy cupcakes with dulce de leche filling from a bakery called the Salty Tart). Gorgeous evening. Greenway. Omar in the bike trailer with his ridiculously cute bike helmet. Fish dinner on Lake Calhoun. Serious playing at Lake Calhoun 32nd Beach playground. Cupcakes and champagne from pink cans with straws. Omar chasing ducks for the first time. Beautiful day. Notice Omar's bike love T-shirt—thanks Eli!
